Norma M Torrance , CA January 18, 2015 Appliance: General Electric Washer WBXR1060T3WW Water fill wouldn't shut off After I ordered the water level switch and hose I checked with the tenant and was told that he had to shut off the water at the wall to stop the fill (shutting off the washer didn't shut off the water). From this I concluded that I needed to replace the water fill valve. Once I had the parts I went ahead and changed both the fill valve and the water level switch, although I did not bother to replace the tube, just blew through it to confirm that it wasn't plugged. The most time consuming part of the repair was running the machine through both cycles to confirm that the parts replacements fixed the problem.
