Sharon for Model Number GTDP180ED0WW We are having a issue with no power. I checked the outlet and have power there. Have power at the connection where wire goes into dryer have power but the dryer light wont come on and the dryer does absolutely nothing. I pulled the resistor and was curious if that should actually test out with a ohm meter with continuity it currently fails continuity testing any ideas whats going on here
Answer Sharon, You would want to test resistance of the resistor but also want to test the thermal fuse on the blower housing to make sure that the thermal fuse is not blown.
