Bob for Model Number NBXR453EV1AA The dryer runs but at times it doesn't seem to heat properly. Also, the timer stays in one spot while it is running. An example, The timer is set for 40 minutes on the Cotton-Sturdy cycle and it will not count down and doesn't appear to get as hot as it used to. I'm not sure if it's the timer or resistor or both.
Answer Hello Bob. It sounds like the venting system is clogged or kinked. You will need to check the vent and clean it out. Be sure and clean the vent pipe and the dryer air duct assembly. If the air flow is not good, the unit will retain moist air causing the clothes not to dry. Try running the unit with the vent unhooked from the back of the dryer and see if the dryer works properly. If the problem continues, the is most likely the resistor WE4M255 not sending power to the timer motor. Hope this helps. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, December 2, 2011
