Keenpa for Model Number JP310- ON2WH (GE) We have a countertop with a set of 4 burners. The "4-6-8" burner is not working, but the landlord supplied a WB30x346 as replacement. I've previously confirmed that this will work. The issue is that the existing connecting wires are Orange, Yellow, Blue, and Green for the connectors on the stovetop unit. I am not sure which wire gets attached to which of the 4 connectors on the burner unit. There is no wiring diagram included.
Answer Keenpa, Unfortunately we do not have a wiring diagram for the unit. Here are the steps that you will want to take. While connecting wires make sure that the power is off. You will need to access the switch for the element. Follow the H2 terminal wire which will be the L2 circuit and will go to the terminal that is off by itself on the element. With the power on you will need to set the switch to low and test from each wire to ground and the wire that you get 120 volts from will go to the innermost terminal on the element. Then put switch on medium or the 6" and test the other 2 wires. The one that has 120 vac to ground will be the center terminal connector. The other wire will be the outer most terminal. Read More...
