Will for Model Number WM3470HWA I have a similar question to Sherm's. Soapy water is coming out of the vent during the spin cycle. It's more than 1/4 cup though... maybe 1 cup. We always fill the detergent to the "normal" line. I took off the end of the hose attached to the drum and noticed there was a plunger inside which looks to be a check valve to prevent water from escaping during the spin cycle. Do these plungers go bad? Or is this problem simply from too much soap? It doesn't happen every time, so I'm leaning towards the "too much soap" scenario. Thanks.
Answer Will, This issue would be caused by using a non HE detergent or too much detergent for the unit. You want to make sure that the detergent you are using is an HE detergent. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, June 26, 2017
