Tim for Model Number 79573165610 We bought the LG compressor assembly for our Kenmore Elite and had a friend replace it. Is it necessary to do the software update after replacing the compressor? If not done, what will happen? The fridge is at the right temperature now. But it's not producing ice. So we're wondering if it's because of the upgrade not done.
