Jim R for Model Number 40441900 I have a Kenmore front load washer that has no power. Sears repair technician said it was the main board. I replaced the main board and still nothing. I was thinking about changing the power cord and/or electronic control board # EBR62280702 to see if that was the problem. Any suggestions would be appreciated
Answer Jim, You will want to do a voltage test. Where the power cord comes into the unit there will be a filter board. You will want to check to see if there is 120 vac where the power cord connects to this board. If there is 120 vac then the power cord is good and the power supply is good. you will then want to check to see if there is 120 vac on the other side of this board. If there is then the filter board is good and if not then the filter board is faulty and would need to be replaced. If there is power at the filter board then check the main control board to make sure that it is getting power.
