This filter assembly is the appliance's line noise filter. It conditions incoming AC power and suppresses electrical interference to protect sensitive controls and help restore stable, reliable power when the original filter has failed. What it does:

• Suppresses EMI/RFI on the AC line to reduce electrical noise reaching the control system
• Helps stabilize power to boards, relays, and motors
