Dee for Model Number LFC25770/05

I need to replace my icemaker with part AEQ72909602 as the ice is sticking in the tray and not dumping. This is a French Door with Freezer on the bottom and no in door water and ice, you pull out the drawer and reach in to get ice. Is there a video on how to take the drawers out and replace this icemaker? I'm concerned about getting the doors back on. Does this icemaker hood on to something in the back with just two screws in the front? I really could use instructions on how to replace is there any way to get them?? Thanks

Answer

Hello Dee, Unfortunately there are no instructions for replacing icemaker. Normally you do not have to remove the shelves. The top shelf can be removed by clips on the side or just lifting out. If you remove the 2 screws in the front you just have to pull the icemaker down and forward to release from ceiling. Once you have the icemaker loose disconnect wire harness, plug in new harness and put icemaker back in. You will put the back in first and slide toward rear. Put screws in and cover back on.
