Answer Mike, In most cases this will be the sensor that is causing the unit to stay in defrost for too long. The sensors are basically safeties telling the control board to turn the heater on and off. There is always a possibility though that the control board is faulty and reading the sensors wrong but it would be more likely the sensor being the issue. Read More...
