Shadley July 31, 2018 for Model Number LFC22770ST New fridge, replaced the control board with a brand new one and still nothing comes on. Only thing activity it has is an led light (M201) on control board blinks. The fridge has no lights, motor or anything coming on. I have check all the wire connections on top and underneath as well as rechecked the ones on new control board, but still nothing. Any suggestions? Thank you!
1 Answer Shadley, If there is no power coming out of the board but there is power into the board then the main control board that you received may be faulty. Read More...
Joel August 12, 2017 for Model Number LFC25765ST I have the LG LFC25765ST Fridge. The power was out for 3 hours and when I came back on, the fridge stopped cooling. I've unplugged for 5 mins and plugged back in and still hasn't cooled down. There's power to the fridge. The inside lights works, the compressor works. The cooling fan works. But still nothing is cooling. Any help would be appreciated
1 Answer Joel, If the unit has the fans running in it and the compressor is running then this will be a sealed system issue and would need to have service. Read More...
Timothy June 08, 2017 for Model Number LCF23760ST I bought circuit board EBR41531302 for my fridge. order number Order #7704693. When I opened the package ( just a soft sided envelope, really??) I noticed that one of the appendages was disconnected, looks like the soder broke. I when ahead and installed the new board and the fridge fired up, but what will i be missing because of this? I think it may say Buzzer? Any idea what that would be for?
1 Answer Timothy, Unless it is for the door alarm there would be no other buzzer. If the board was damaged you would want to call in and have them send a replacement board. Read More...
Mike August 28, 2016 for Model Number LFC20760SW Can a defective control board cause the defrost heater to stay on warming up the refrig or can it be the defrost sensor.
1 Answer Mike, In most cases this will be the sensor that is causing the unit to stay in defrost for too long. The sensors are basically safeties telling the control board to turn the heater on and off. There is always a possibility though that the control board is faulty and reading the sensors wrong but it would be more likely the sensor being the issue. Read More...
Bob July 28, 2016 for Model Number LFC23760ST refrigerator stopped running entirely; no lights, fan or compressor running. both fuses on the control board appear fine, not blown. Is this likely still a control board issue? should i order and repplace the control board? thanks
1 Answer Hello Bob. You will need to test for power coming to the control board. If there is power there and nothing coming out, you will need to replace the main board. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Warren October 14, 2015 for Model Number LFC23760SB Fridge has no power. Checked power on left side of bottom ( main fuse ? ) and showed 120V coming in. Checked right side of fuse and showed no power. I OHM'd the fuse and did not get a reading.. From looking around the WEB this indicates a bad fuse/board ( do not feel confident enough to replace the fuse since it is soldered in ). Therefore, will need to replace the board. Is there anything else I can check? If not, this inicates I need to replace the board. Do you agree?? Thanks, Warren.
1 Answer Hello Warren. No, based on the information you provided, you will need to order and replace the control board on the unit. Read More...
Brad April 17, 2015 Hey, just replaced the control board that had a blown fuse on my LG Refrigerator. After I replaced the board, plugged the fridge in, everything starts up fine, but the display inside the fridge compartment isn't working properly. Do I need to re-program the fridge or something? Thanks!
1 Answer Brad, Based on the part number that you supplied for the main control board EBR41531302 this is a LG built refrigerator. This would not require the unit to be programmed. Double check all the wiring and it may be necessary to replace the display board as it could have failed when the fuse blew. Read More...

After examining the the old defective board that completly shut the operation of our down. Could you explain which component on these circuit board fail? The transitors, diodes etc. and could the board be repaired ?
1 Answer Joe, It would be hard to pinpoint exactly what part on the board has failed but in most cases there is a fuse on the board which is by the relay that has failed. Read More...
