Leland for Model Number lfxc24726s Ran thru test on the PCB board after no cooling problem in the fridge & freezer area, code 22? Showed on front panel & no diagnostic blinking lights on PCB board, does this model have overload protector as compressor does not seem to come on although all fans seem to be running for a bout 5 min & then compressor fan shuts off not to come back on till power is cut & then reapplied.
Answer Leland, The 22 code is just stating that it is in test mode 2 by you pushing the button on the control board. This unit does have an overload protector which is part number 6750CL0001D but would not have anything to do with the condenser fan motor running. If it is bad it will cause the compressor to not run. If the compressor is not running you will want to check to make sure that there is 120 vac going to the compressor and if there is not then the main control board will be the issue and if there is then the thermistor assembly EBG60663230.
