Tyler for Model Number LG DLE5955W We have 2 issues: 1) For the past year our dryer drum would turn constantly if the dryer door was closed and the dryer was plugged in - EVEN if it WAS NOT turned on. The only way to get the dryer drum to stop turning was to open the dryer door. 2) NOW - the drum wont turn. We turn it on - set the cycle - hit start - makes a noise and then nothing.
Answer Hello Tyler. If there is no power to the motor, order part number EBR36858901. If there is power, and the motor does not run, replace the motor. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
