Ricatic for Model Number LG LW2516ER Compressor has fickle operation....Sometimes will run fine, sometimes just does not run. Unit is 3 years old. This unit was throwing CH34 codes and shutting off, which I understand. Now no more codes, just intermittent compressor runs, no-matter how low the temp is set. Condenser and evaporator coils are totally clean. I'm a gearhead with refrigeration experience, so no "settings" advice, please.
Answer Ricatic, based on the information provided, the sealed system is overheating which can be caused by excessive temperatures from direct sunlight or if the sealed system is failing. If the compressor is not operating during the hottest portion of the day, it would likely be from direct sunlight exposure which can usually be corrected by using an awning to shade the unit.
