Bob for Model Number lg dlex3360 I removed a sock that was caught in the blower fan. The dryer was working, just making a rubbing(?) sound. While apart i vacuumed everything; blower fan, lint basket, exhaust pipe, cleaned sensors with alcohol. Now when i hit the power button, it starts beeping right away and the "check filter" light is blinking and the signal volume is lit, nothing else lit or flashing and the dryer won't start. If i hit the power button and quick turn the selector knob it will light up, as will appropriate temp, spin speed, etc but dryer still won't start. I do not see/feel any loose wire connections. What could be the problem?
Answer Bob, You will want to check on the blower housing to make sure that the thermistor is not disconnected or the wiring being damaged. This is the most likely cause for the filter light to flash and unit to not start. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, June 4, 2014
