Jim S for Model Number DLE5977S Our dryer stopped working. I've confirmed 240 V getting to unit. I've tested the belt switch, thermostat, thermal fuse, door switch, and heating element. All have continuity. The motor sounded like it was humming, so I replaced the motor and then the PWB board. Still the unit powers up, the instrument panel lights up but I still get a clicking sound when I try to run a cycle. Help!!!!!!!!
Answer Hello Jim. One of the safety switches are not reading right. Make sure the belt switch is engaged to run on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
