Kevin for Model Number dlexx7177wm I just replaced one of my rollers for the drum. When I put everything back together my dryer would not start. As soon as I push the power button the dryer beeps non stop, says check filter, and will not start. The dryer worked perfectly before I changed the roller, so I know it's something I've done. I took it back apart and checked all switches and fuses with a meter. Do you think there's a chance the control board is bad. Any help is appreciated.
Answer Kevin, Before you replace the control board, Recheck and make sure everything is wired correctly, especially the thermal fuse and sensor on the blower housing. If you haven't yet, check the exhaust vent system and vent hood, for kinks, clogs, and restrictions. Also check the outlet duct under the filter and the blower housing and wheel. restricted air flow will cause the check filter light to illuminate. Read More...
