Terry for Model Number LDF6810ST/01 It seems the dishwasher is getting too much water, not heating it enough, and leaving a large amount of water (estimate 1/2 gallon or more) that drains at the start of a new wash cycle. It drains the residual water fine - no blockage but I do get a HE error which indicates the water may not be hot enough. The heater and thermistor checks good and I even tried a new heater. I changed the float assembly and no help. Does the flow sensor contribute to the amount of fill or simply measure the internal flow when operating? Please help!

In regards to the unit not heating, as the heater/thermistor assembly was changed out, there would either be a broken wire or a failed main control (For serial number beginning in 601-612 use control 6871DD1006H, for serial number beginning in 701 or higher use 6871DD1006R. Unfortunately, the main control has been discontinued by the manufacturer and is no longer available. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Sunday, November 21, 2021
