Scott P. for Model Number LG WM3270CW We started receiving random LE codes on our washer. I removed the rotor and stator with a new position sensor in hand hoping to fix it. Our washer doesn't even have a rotor position sensor. Which means it may be sensing the load through a vibration sensor mounted on the unit somewhere. This machine is only 2 years old and we don't have any kids so we do about 4 loads a week. I'm thinking that maybe the strut that goes between the body of the machine and the tub may be allowing for too much play and setting the code.
Answer Hello Scott, Your unit does have a hall sensor, (RPS), but it is a part of the motor assembly AJB73816004. This or the wiring to the motor will normally correct the issue. In some cases, the main board EBR79950228 which reads the information from the RPS will be at fault. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Saturday, August 24, 2019
