Richard for Model Number WM2077CW

I get a CE code after the wash completes the washing cycle and it drains out the water, and then when it begins to do the spinning cycle for the rinse the machine alarm goes off and it has the CE code on the screen. I checked for the OHM's reading on all three of the leads to the motor through my Multi Meter and it reads 8.4 OHM's. I am not sure if this is the correct reading for the motor. Could you please assist me with your knowledge as to what may be the problem, and for the solution to this problem. Thanks, I now await for your response.

Answer

Hello Richard, The CE code indicates the following: • MAIN PWB ASSEMBLY is out of order. • Winding in the STATOR ASSEMBLY is short-circuited. If the resistance readings do not fall in the listed readings, the motor will need to be replaced: Resistance of terminal: 1-2/2-3/1-3 About 5O to 15O. If these readings are in the correct range, the main PWB EBR32816703 will require replacement.
