Daniel for Model Number WM2016CW When the washer it turned on and started it begins the fill cycle normally. When the drum begins to turn it sounds like there is a groaning noise coming from inside but sometimes it will not spin. It seems like it wants to spin but hits an invisible barrier and after a few minutes of trying to spin will give the Le code. Before ordering parts I pulled it apart to check both the front and rear bearings and both spin freely with no resistance or noise. This leads me to believe it is the RPS causing all of my problems. I am just concerned with the noise that the drum makes when it do actually spin. Added note: When i spin the drum by hand in either direction it makes no noise at all.

It is a three phase motor and the loss of one phase will cause the noise and prevent the unit from going into the high speed spin. Read More...
