Causes of a bad sensor assembly can include wear and tear from regular use, exposure to water and detergents, electrical malfunctions, or damage from impact. A faulty sensor assembly can lead to incorrect readings, which can affect the washing machine’s performance and lead to issues such as improper water levels or unbalanced loads.

Symptoms of a bad Sensor Assembly include:

  • Incorrect water levels during cycles
  • The washing machine stopping mid-cycle or not completing cycles
  • Error codes related to water level or load balance
  • The machine failing to start or operate correctly

Answer

Tommy, There are 2 springs that go at the top of the tub and attach to the cabinet, you will want to make sure that these springs are in the correct position as they can cause the unit to get off balance. Also check the shocks on the unit to make sure that they are in place properly and not damaged.
