Jonathan for Model Number 795.76282600 This LG/Kenmore Elite Refrigerator/Bottom Freezer is showing near normal refrigerator temperature (38 F), but the freezer reaches mid twenties. All fans, evaporator and condenser, work. Condenser coils have been cleaned. The defrost heater functions. No error codes are displayed, and no failures occur in test mode. Any best guesses as to freezer temperature sensor, PCB board, or 134A refrigerant leak as the culprit?
Answer Jonathan, Remove the rear wall of the freezer and check to see what the frost pattern looks like. It sounds like you may have a frost pattern where there is very little frost which would be a sealed system issue and will require service. Read More...
