John for Model Number LG Refrigerator LFC25760SW The refrigerator light in the refrigerator compartment does not work. The bulbs are good. I changed the light socket assy w/ safety device. Did not work. Changed the main board. Did not work. The door switches work. When you press the switches the temp.panel readouts go on & off like they should. You can also hear a click at the same time, but lights still do not work. .
Answer John, with the door open you will want to test connection 3 pin 5 of the main control for 120VAC, if there is 120VAC at that pin, then you will want to test the pink wire going to the bulb sockets for 120VAC (if the control is sending 120VAC). If the pink wire does not have 120VAC, then there is a break in the wire. If there is 120VAC going to the bulb sockets from the pink wire, then there is a chance that there may be an issue with the neutral side. Read More...
