Hi Habib. This is an upgraded factory part replacement you have. It is modified with the thermostat for safety and will open the circuit before the light bulbs sockets will melt. Hi Mark. The green wire connects to the metal light mount bracket. There is a corner tab that will have a place where you can connect the green wire. The "round" thing is a thermostat . It is mounted with the "ears" so it will be placed against the cabinet so it can monitor exact cabinet temperatures. There will be opning slots where the sensor mount tab's slide and lock into to be secure. Hope this helps. Thank you.
