Jen for Model Number LMX25981SW Hello! My icemaker does not seem to be getting water, but when it tries to fill, the water comes out through the water dispenser instead. I'm not sure what part to replace.
Answer Jen, it would be recommended that the valve is inspected to identify if wires have been crossed. The ice maker solenoid with the 1/4" water line should have an orange wire and a white wire. The water dispenser solenoid with the 5/16" tubing should have a black wire and a blue wire. If the wires are crossed, they would need to be corrected. Read More...
