Rob for Model Number RF28HFEDTSR/AA I have recently had a problem with the refrigerator not staying cold all the time. Sometimes the temp will be spot on and other times its 10-15 degrees above the temp setting. I have pulled the ref-evap fan and tested it with a 12v battery and it worked fine. Wondering if it could be a sensor issue or if its a rely issue? If it is a rely issue, which board controls turning the ref-evap fan on and off? Thanks
Answer Rob, An intermittent cooling fan could create the intermittent cooling in the refrigerator compartment. Usually, it's a problem in the DCV fan motor, you may want to recheck for constant voltage to the fan, before you replace the DA94-02679A / DA94-02679A Main PCB Assy. . At this point we wouldn't expect the sensors or the control board to be the issue. Recheck for loose connections etc. before replacing the fan motor. Read More...
