Mike W for Model Number rf267aers/00 Display reads -2 in the freezer section, the actual temp is 38. freezer to hot, ice maker not working. Both freezer fans are working, coils are clean. had A&E repair tech look at unit, he said replace inverter control board. Just wondering if that could be the problem.
Answer Hello Mike. If the freezer is 38, it does not sound like the inverter is bad. It sounds like the sealed system has failed and you will need an HVAC tech to repair the unit.
