Michael for Model Number RF217ACWP/XXA I have removed the mullion from the fridge by removing the caps and then the screws holding the center hinge and then sliding the mullion up off its hinge clips. I need to remove the lower hinge to replace it. It will not (yet) slide down because there is a columnar object blocking its movement. Do I need to remove that columnar block (and if so how without damaging it) OR do I need to disassemble the entire mullion (and if so how to avoid damaging IT)? I'm not currently at home, but I can send you photos of the mullion if that will help you understand the physical reality of the situation.
Answer Michael, You would have to disassembly the mullion by using a putty knife to separate the 2 halves to get the hinge off. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, September 26, 2017
