James for Model Number RF4287HARS/XAA Hello- I had my freezer sensor ripped out by a box of Eggo waffles. Nice. Anyway there is some damage to the wire insulation, but it seems like the sensor itself is working. I'm getting about 5.1 K ohms at room temperature (70 deg F). Can't find published resistance values for this sensor anywhere. Does this seem like a reasonable value for this sensor? Thank you.
Answer Hello James. The sensor should read 5.0 ? at 77 ?. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
