Rob for Model Number Dacor ERDE48 Help, I cleaned oven two days ago because of a burning smell, now big oven won't heat. Bake element in 48" compartment reads 15 ohms. Small 30" oven works fine, but my mother-in-law has to cook the turkey tomorrow for Thanksgiving. What should I do?
Answer Hello Rob. You need to check the high limit switch DE81-03938A for the large oven and see if it is bad and will need to be replaced on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
