Bob for Model Number ECS136SCH The butterfly bake element doesn’t heat up. Testing resistance it shows 16.6 ohms. Is this fine?
Answer Bob, the resistance should be fine. What you will want to check for is ensuring that the element is receiving the proper voltage. The element will not heat up if it does not receive 240VAC.
