Julie V for Model Number ERD36SCH The heating element caught fire, arced, etc. When I was removing the broken element one of the clips simply slipped off and it's fried and won't stay on the new element at all. Additionally, the wire attched to that clip appears to be damaged as well. Without pulling the oven out from the wall I don't know where that wire goes or attaches. Is it part of a wire harness? Can I replace the one wire and clip or do I have to buy the entire harness?
Answer Julie, You could cut the wire back a little where there is good wire and attach a new connector to plug into the element or you would need to replace the entire harness if this is not possible. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, April 30, 2020
