Bob for Model Number RS267LBBP Woke up in the morning and found my Samsung fridge not cooling in the freezer or fridge sections but the temperature indications on the display were still reading low. Unplugged the fridge and removed the access panels to check and see if the coils were filled with ice but they were clear. Plugged it back in and now I get dash line on the display. Far right number and upper left dash. I found that that could mean the coolselect zone sensor and I'm having trouble locating this sensor. I did an ohm reading of the sensors on both coils and they seem fine. There was a previous question where it was about the same problem but different model # and the answer was the main PCB. I'm not sure if would be the same. It seems that the fridge will run for awhile and cool but no temp. indication.
Answer Bob, If your unit has a cool zone then the thermistor would be toward the back of the assembly. If not then the problem is the control board which will have to be replaced. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, March 27, 2013
