Angela N. for Model Number RB215LABP It all started with we noticed the ice maker was not working. A few days later the fridge was not getting cool, then the freezer was not holding either. The read out on the door says -8 and 32. I was told to unplug it for the day and see what happens when I plugged it back in. I did this then everything worked fine for about 2 days. Now the ice maker still seems to be working alright, the feezer temp is at about -8 and the readout for it says 2 degrees. The fridge internal temp is about 50 and the read out says 32. What do I need to fix this problem. Thank you in advance for your response.
Answer Hello Angela. Make sure the temp sensors are good and if so, you will need to order and replace the main control board on the back of the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
