Guest for Model Number ldg7500aal Our Maytag gas dryer takes about three hours to dry clothes and the timer never moves at all. The gas comes on only briefly (20-30 seconds) when called, but the drum area never gets as hot as it used to. I replaced my coils, the cycling thermostat and the high limit thermostat, (all your parts) but the problem remains. Igniter is good and radiant sensor ohms correct. Is the timer at fault? Please help. This is getting expensive. SK
Answer Hello. It sounds like the coils 279834 are bad. Hope this helps. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, March 18, 2011
