This agitator Bolt is an OEM replacement part for Whirlpool washing machines. It is a crucial component for maintaining the performance of various washing machines and washer-dryer combos. This agitator bolt secures the agitator, ensuring smooth and efficient operation. The kit includes one 7/16" screw head bolt with a rubber gasket and threaded sealant.

Robert, you may want to try a small amount of penetrating oil or "rust buster" applied to the bolt head, let it soak a while, then use the 7/16" socket and extension. You may need to use a small block of wood, and small hammer to "tap" the socket down enough to get a proper "purchase" fit on the bolt to loosen and remove it. Otherwise you'll need to chisel or cut out the agitator cam and dogs, so you can remove the upper agitator then remove the bolt using a wrench and a pair of pliers to hold the agitator shaft in position.
