Laundri L for Model Number LAT2300AAE and LAV3600AWW The top portion of washing machine agitator floats up and is not secured to the bottom portion. I feel I just need the rubber securing ring and the little thread-bolts not the entire assembly to secure them together again, the large pieces are in great condition, the rubber thread bolt got loose and I threw it out when I found it in my laundry weeks ago, before I noticed the problem. Is it possible to purchase just these small pieces or fix it without buying the unnecessary parts? So far I've been able to push it back down and of course the lid keeps it from escaping the washtub. I've not had a problem with clothes not getting clean or any odd noises. Am I missing something? Does anyone know a "fix" for this. Yes, this Is the 2nd model of Maytag washing machines this has happened to for me.
Answer Laundri, In order to get the agitator top to stay in place the agitator itself would need to be replaced. There is not a rubber washer kit for this. The part number for the agitator is 22001821. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, July 24, 2017
