Beezy for Model Number LSR5100KQ0 I recently replaced my drive block on my whirpool washing machine. I have everything put back in place almost up until it comes time to put the agitator back in. The bolt that holds it in now just spins and spins..refusing to tighten in place. When i remove the agitator though the bolt will screw right in place below in to the spanner nut?? Not sure if im saying the right part on that sorry...the part i had to remove with spanner wrench. Either way im completely lost as to why this portion of the repair is so difficult. I took great care taking it all apart so nothing should be broken at this point. What am i missing??? Thanks in advance for any help! Desperate to get our washer back up and running!
Answer Beezy, You will want to make sure that the agitator is being pushed all the way down to the top of the shaft. If it is then it should screw down into the shaft.
