Nelson for Model Number atw4675yq1 Hi, I have a top load Admiral washer and I'm replacing the agitator. The bolt that holds the agitator in place won't budge. I have been using an impact wrench and doused it with WD-40. The shaft spins with the agitator bolt weather I hold the agitator in place or keep the washtub from moving. I am going to try some PB blaster and hope for the best. If that doesn't work, what else can I try? Is it possible to hold the transmission shaft in place from underneath in order to remove the agitator bolt from above? Any ideas would be much appreciated. Thx!
Answer Nelson, The only way to do this from the bottom and keep the shaft from turning would be to wedge the pulley at the bottom of the unit. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, October 12, 2022
