Karen for Model Number RBD245PDQ8 Hi-- I have a Whirlpool double oven and the temperature for the upper oven is not showing up on the touch screen at all. The lower oven temperature does show up. I have noticed F2 on the touch pad and had figured there was a temporary power outage, but from reading the info on your website, I realize this is a fault. Can you help? Thanks so much! Karen
Answer Karen, F2 error code indicates a shorted key pad on the control panel WP8300428 and would need replacement. The non existent temperature display for the upper oven could have been due to a faulty oven sensor, but that should also cause an F3 error code in the upper oven(you didn't mention if the oven worked without the display), the presumption would be the LED display circuit in the oven control 8302967 for the upper oven has failed and the control board would need to be replaced. The control board has been discontinued by the manufacturer and is no longer available. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, November 30, 2016
