Rhona R for Model Number RBS305PDQ8 I just received part # 8186024 Microcomputer Electronic Control Board for my Whirlpool Oven. I have turned off the breaker and am attempting to remove the defective control board. I removed the 2 side wires, the one of the other ones is very hard to remove, do I just gently pry and then unscrew the screws? Also...a repairman disconnected the fan wire for me several months ago when my problem started because fan stayed on all the time...where do I reattach the fan wire. Thanks.
Answer Rhona, You might find it easier to work with, if you remove the four mounting screws, disconnect the keypad ribbon and move the ERC out of the control panel, far enought to work with the harness connectors. If there any amount of prying needed, be very careful, do not damage or distort the plastic connector / housing. Thanks Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, September 5, 2012
