Sam, If the WPW10006355 shift actuator is in the wrong position, or the RPS inside the assembly is not supplying the proper information to the control board, the lid latch can malfunction and not lock and will cause the flashing LED. The actuator is located underneath the tubs, on the Gearcase assembly. Check and make sure there are no loose connections at the shift actuator, if all's OK, replace the actuator.
