Cody for Model Number Whirlpool Model # WTW4900BW0 Hello, my whirlpool washing machine model number WTW4900BW0 will not go into spin/agitate mode. I put clothes in the washing machine, turn it on and it goes into sensing mode. Then the lock light will start to flash and click. Then it will lock and start but won't ever made it to the spin/drain mode. When I open up the washing machine sometimes there is water and sometimes there is not but clothes are always soaked. Before I would put it into drain/spin mode and sometimes it would work sometimes it would not. Now it won't drain or spin. At first from my google searches it seemed as if it was the lid lock. I replaced the lid lock hoping it would solve the problem and it did not. Should I replace the shift actuator? It sounds like as if that is the problem from what I've read on the posts.
