Charlie Lin for Model Number MVWX700XW2 We have two Maytag Bravos X top-load washers (model MVWX700XW2). One of them started to have trouble a few weeks ago. It stuck in sensing mode and won't move forward through the wash cycle. I tried to unplug the power a couple times, but it didn't help. Then I run self-diagnosis a couple times, and then found error codes of F7E5 (shift actuator or its wiring), F7E6 (drive motor or its wiring), and twice F0E0 (not sure whether it means unknown error or it's fine?). I disconnected power and water and turned washer over, and then checked wire connection to shift actuator and drive motor (by unplugging and plugging back in), which seems OK. Since we have another washer of the same model working perfectly fine, I swapped shift actuator first and then drive motor to learn that both actuators and drive motors are working fine. What could be the problem? Wire connection to the control board? or the control board itself? or could it be due to some other problems (if so, like what parts to check)? I guess I could swap the control board, or any other parts to find out.
Answer Charlie, The F0 E0 would mean no error codes but the other 2 errors you will need to check to make sure that the parts and wiring are good by using the tech sheet to test the parts. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, October 4, 2024
