Joe for Model Number ED25TQXEN00 I had a problem with my freezer thawing out the frozen food and then freezing again. I replaced the defrost timer and it didn't fix it. I then replaced the cold control and it fixed the freezer problem. After a few months, we noticed the fridge was freezing food. I had to turn the fridge knob almost to the off position to keep things from freezing. It recently started freezing food in the fridge on the lowest setting. I just looked and the freezer knob was set to B. I put it to A on the lowest setting to see if that helps. The bar going from the knob to the damper control seems to be working fine. Does this appear to be a defective cold control or could it be the damper control? Thank you, Joe.
Answer Hello Joe. Check the damper and make sure it is not broken. If not, you will need to replace the refrigerator cold control. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, July 22, 2014
