Gil, Yes, it could be the diffuser assembly WPW10151374 even if it is a mechanical operation, the control rod or linkage could have come dislodged or broke and the damper is stuck closed. You also want to check and make sure both doors close and seal properly, there aren't any articles hanging over the sides and back of the shelves and the vent cover on the center wall isn't blocked. Recheck and make sure the evaporator fan is running and make sure there isn't frost or ice built up on the rear wall of the freezer(defrost problem) blocking the air flow.
