Tim M. for Model Number gd5rhaxntoo I just had my refridgerator repaired. The control panel and lite doesnt work ,he said it was ok that the fridge is working ,but said I need the air defuser,which I paid 76.80 and 85.00 labor,plus 69.95 service call. What does this part do ,I feel I've been had.
Answer Hi Tim. The control box/panel controls the panel and light. It is part # 2304102. The air diffusser is the air damper assembly that allows a certian amount of air is normally let into the fresh food from the freezer fan assembly.
