Mike for Model Number mav7000aww The machine will only fill on the hot wash/ cold rinse, on any cycle.All other settings have to be filled on the rinse cycle. Then I return the timer to the start of the wash cycle and it completes fine. When it first started this problem only the cold water cycle was affected.I have replaced the water inlet valve thinking this was the cause,but was unsuccessful at solving the problem. Could this be the control board?
Answer Mike, You're on track, based on your post information. The thermistor on the fill valve, supplies resistance to the control board. the control board activates the water valve coils based on the resistance.
