Ct for Model Number Whirlpool Accubake I turned on self-clean cycle and the control lock (green checkmark) came on, but the door lock (green checkmark) did not, and it didn't clean. It started beeping and an error code came on, F5E1. I think I caused it because I turned on the microwave while this process was starting. I rebooted the fuse box but nothing improved. Someone said it was the door latch sensor and another said it was the door latch assembly. The first answer sounds like software, but the second answer sounds like hardware. Are they talking about two different parts?
Answer CT, You're on the right track, The F5 E1 code indicates the oven ERC/Clock, is not seeing the oven door lock switch is closed and the oven is ready to self clean.
